Dandy Lioness

Something about turbands and head wraps just kind of screams summer.  Maybe it's because it only takes five seconds to do or because it looks best with your natural bed head.  Either way this is a trend I'll be seen in all summer.  There are countless ways to tie old scarves into summery head wraps and tutorials all over the internet if you're interested.  The best thing about this trend? It looks best with an old with tee and denim.

Sunday Brunch

First of all, Happy Mother's Day to the most beautiful mom alive.  Second of all, thank you for this opportunity to dress up, not that I ever really need one.  I have been dying to wear this jacket that I snagged for over 75% off at Urban Surplus that I am so proud of myself for finding.  

The jeans as well are Urban Outfitters and the shirt is from White House/Black Market but I'm 90% sure I thrifted it. 

Earrings made by yours truly out of some ugly earrings I got for Christmas and an old bracelet I had lying around.

Aaand last but not least, a girl's best friend; her shoes.  These were given to me by a sweetheart  who hates heels, but knows how much I love them
